Your pooch will love to share her birthday fun with all of her own furry friends. If your dog visits a dog park regularly, invite some of her favorite playmates from the park. To create a fun and safe environment, make sure you have a securely fenced area for the party. It’s also best to instruct your human friends to arrive with their dogs on leashes. Online dog birthday invitations are an easy way to get the word out about your party and provide guests with important details and information.

When the big day has arrived and the pooches have settled into playtime, observe their behavior and host your own dog show. You can come up with silly categories like “Coolest Trick,” “Best Smile,” and “Most Ferocious Bark.” Award the winners with treats. Just make sure to ask owners if it's okay to give their dogs treats - just like kids, dogs can have allergies too!

Speaking of treats, no puppy party is complete without some delicious snacks. A lot of pet stores sell doggy ice cream. If the idea of a doggy ice cream social sounds messy to you, create these cute dog treats from scratch instead. Here’s the recipe.

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
- 3/4 cup nonfat dry milk powder
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 cubes beef bouillon cube
- 3/4 cup boiling water
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar

Directions
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Lightly grease one cookie sheet. Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water and allow them to cool. Combine the flour, dry milk, egg, oil, beef broth, and brown sugar. Mix well and knead the dough for 1 minute. On a floured surface roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thickness. Use a dog- or bone-shaped cookie cutter to cut out the treats and place them on a cookie sheet. Bake for 30 minutes and allow to cool.

Finally, don’t forget to have some food and drinks around for your human friends! You can add a special touch by personalizing soda with a cute pic from your puppy’s early days. By following these steps, you’ll create fun memories for your family, friends, and Fido!
