Even the 5 star restaurant is housed in 9 converted train cars and the food is fantastic. Railroad Park Resort has done such an amazing job of preserving the history of these cabooses while keeping them modern enough with current amenities. Each Caboose is unique in its own decor as well as how it faces the direction of the surrounding mountains of Dunsmuir. This is truly one of the most memorable places you can stay in Northern California, let alone the entire state.
