We are based in the Eastern reaches of the Idaho Rockies, though our district reaches East to West and North to South, wherever passionate people enjoy sharing the excitement and delight of Scottish culture.
Teton & District Performing Arts is an all-ages cooperative effort. We are community focused, performing for events formal or casual, public or private. If you're in the Idaho Falls area, you may even hear the skirl of our pipers on the breeze of a summer Sunday!

The Great Highland Bagpipes have been around for centuries; sounding their cheering music on the
battlefield, as well as, their mournful laments by the graveside. The bagpipes came to the United States
more than two-hundred years ago, becoming a traditional part of both police and fire departments,
mainly made-up of those Scottish and Irish immigrants. Today, the bagpipe can be heard all across this
nation; at parades, highland gatherings, and at their traditional post- the graveside.
