Q: What are the prices of a Sew Much for That party?
A: Adult party price is $30 per person participating (3hour). Tween & Teen $15pp (2hour). Scout $12pp/10 min. (2hour).
Q: Do you run children's parties?
A: Yes! Sew Much for That does tween & teen parties. Scouts can earn sewing and recycling badges. Typically, one project is selected: T-Shirt Tote, T-Shirt Couture, Treasure Bowl, Recycled Jewelry, etc. and everyone completes the same project. We have sewing and no-sew projects available for children. Same project tween & teen parties run $15pp and Scouts are $12pp. HOST A FASHION SHOW PARTY! Project ideas.
Q: As a host, what is expected of me?
A: You supply a place to gather with friends and we bring sewing machines (# determined by number of guests), thread, shears, extension cords, table for sewing machines if needed, and you never know what embellishments, baubles and extras we bring in our Trunk of Junk.
Q: Can I host a party at a venue other than my home?
A: Certainly. We can contact venue for you to see if they can accommodate us on a specific date and our requirements. You are responsible for all venue rental costs including cancellation costs.
Q: How do I book a party?
A: You can reserve a party right here right now. Parties are currently offered Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday and Sunday. The times are flexible beyond what you see when you register. Upon registering we will contact you to coordinate your desired start time and any additional details necessary to host a fun party/event. Email us at the bottom of this page if you are interested in a day/date not currently listed at Eventzilla.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: Call 847-366-6225 or email @ info@textiledesignsbyalison.com. At least one person, typically the host reserves the date online through links above. Additional participants may also register and pay in advance through Eventzilla. In person participants can pay by cash or credit card at beginning of party.
Q: What is the minimum/maximum number of people that can participate?
A: The minimum number is two and the maximum number is restricted only by your space.
Q: Typically, how long are parties?
A: Adult pricing is based on three hour party. Set-up and break down time is included in this time frame. Anticipate 15 minutes to set up and 15 min to pack up. Youth parties typically run two hours.
Q: Will I really be able to make something in the time allowed? What if I have never sewed before?
A: We have created the Sew Much For That Eco-Sew Party for people without any sewing experience! We come out with over 50 examples of repurposed and recycled items. For additional inspiration of HUNDREDS of items see our Pinterest link: Sew Much for That!
A: Please call (847-366-6225) and give us a 48 hour notice for your cancellation. We have customers that are on a waiting list. This allows us to accommodate those requests. If you do not call and let us know about canceling your reservation, you run the risk of losing your credit/payment. We can always credit your reservation for another night if you let us know.
