Located in Pineville, Louisiana, this home was built in the early 1900's by Ola Barron, it's namesake. Its interior and exterior have been remodeled in a quaint, Louisiana country home style. The house is located on 4 acres of land (with an approximately 1/2 acre fenced-in, landscaped yard) with beautiful shady trees and flowering shrubs, perfect for an outdoor wedding. The front yard also has a small, garden swing and bench; and the front porch has a swing and room for seating as well. Parking is to the side and can accomodate parking for 25 to 30 vehicles.
The interior of the home has two bedrooms, one bathroom, and an open L-shaped kitchen/dining room/living room. Central heat and air. The kitchen has a double sink, refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, and some utensils. Furniture in the living room can accomodate ~10 people and additional folding chairs are available in a closet for up to 30 people. Folding tables are also available, as well as a small kitchen table. We are very accomodating and helpful in meeting the needs of your event.
The house can be rented for the day for an event or be used for overnight stays. It has been used for family reunions with about 150 people (because of the front yard) and for bridal showers with about 30 people. Please contact Anita Curtis (number listed above).
