Mobile DJs – WRAY DJ’S professional disc jockeys travel with state-of-the art equipment and play from an extensive collection of pre-recorded music for the target audience.
Video DJs – WRAY DJ’S provides a visual performance, characterized by the creation of imagery in real-time, in synchronization to music. It gives the audience more to dance to, creating a much more exciting vibe at events.
Lighting Services/ Special Effects – WRAY DJ’S understands that lighting and atmospheric effects create a mood to enhance the excitement and feeling when it’s time to dance. We offer multiple color combination lighting, moving heads for spotlighting, custom Gobo monograms, pin spots, uplighting, lasers, bar washes, fog machines and more.
Equipment Rental – For clients who need equipment but do not need a DJ, WRAY DJ’s has equipment for rent.
Event Planning – WRAY DJ’S will work with clients and/or their event planners to coordinate the event from beginning to end. Our professional DJ’s will listen to the client’s vision and incorporate it in the services. Additionally, our professionals will offer suggestions about how to make the event perfect and unique.
Moon Bounce/ Photo Booth – Clients can also rent moon bounces to serve the younger attendees of events and further extend the fun. Photo booths can also be rented so that attendees can take a memory with them – in the form of a photograph – when they leave the event.

We are members of the Bay Business Group, ADJA and AMAEA. These organizations promote ethical business practices and are also a resource for professional DJs. The Bay Business Group supports small businesses in the community.
We are one of many small businesses in Maryland and the only full time/employee based DJ service in Southern Maryland. Add to that, we are a small and tight group. We do not want to become a large organization as this would not benefit our clients. We like to meet face to face and have that connection. You will never be treated like a number. Our music selections are at your disposal. We stock a legal music library that covers the 1920's to today's hits. Some of our DJs beatmix music and deliver a performance style approach while mixing today's hits and old school favorites together. Be specific about the kind of atmosphere you want and we'll make sure you get it.
The information on this site gives us a travel limit of 10 miles. However, we are a full time service and have served in many places outside of Maryland and in some cases, in the mid west. We don't have a travel limit. We will go where we are needed.
We strive to leave a positive lasting impression on each client. You can expect a low key to moderate approach with your wedding without the cheesy or obnoxious songs you don't want to hear. Believe us! We know what they are. You can expect fun and professional with any event you book us for.
By being full time, we can cater everything to your schedule. We can be prepared for each event and feel fresh on the day of ready to go. In other words, your event is not something we do on the side. You definitely get what you pay for. However, at least we explain what that is when we meet. You will be impressed at the questions we ask you as well as how we assist you with your own questions. We are very thorough.
We have been the recipient of the Wedding Wire's Bride's choice award twice; once in 2010 and in 2011. We've also received the 2010 Best of weddings from the Knot.com. In 2010 we received the Calvert's best of DJs award. Just recently, we received the 2011 Thumbtack Elite Service Award.
