  The pond offers great opportunities to capture camera shots of wildlife and wetland foliage -- not to mention wedding shots!
  And, if you would like to drop a line, the pond offers catch-and-release fishing for catfish, bass and bluegill. Try your luck at casting from the pond shore or from the new dock.
  Do not fear, the pond is not used by any livestock and domestic animals are not allowed either.
  Maybe you are looking to take family or employees on a hike, horse ride, wagon ride, or carriage ride! The Civil War Ranch has acres and acres of pastures and forested areas. But make sure you take along a camera for the photo opportunities!
  Are you hankering for a family or company picnic or dinner? Try out the shade in the Courtyard Picnic Pole Barn and the pair of regulation-size horseshoe-tossing pits. The Courtyard is perfect for a multiplicity of games and activities.
  If there's a wedding your planning, consider the charm of a country ceremony and reception at the Civil War Ranch.
  The Wedding Barn is a two-story events facility that includes modern climate-controlled restrooms, bride & dressing rooms, and a Catering Preparation Room.
  The two second-floor Banquet Hall 9' wide x 6' tall windows offer a panoramic view of the pond, meadows and woodlands below.
  The upstairs Banquet Hall will accommodate up to 86 guests seated at round banquet tables. The First Floor Hall will seat 100 guests at round banquet tables.
  If you prefer an outdoor ceremony, the pond offers a perfect backdrop. Or, for a larger group, the Barn Courtyard and shade of the "Wedding Tree" would be ideal.
  And just across the courtyard is our Pole Barn, which offers a shady picnic or dining area for any outdoor activity.
  Off in the woods is the secluded Spring Creek Pavilion stone stage west of the Wedding Barn. Bench seating for more than 60, plus a grassy hill for extra guests. Venue includes bride dressing room, pavilion dining for 48 and its own sound system.
  Is your family or Scout group looking for some outdoor primitive camping? The Civil War Ranch has a perfect wooded area in the southeast corner of the Ranch, away from it all! Bring your campers, tents or just throw out your bedding and sleep under the stars!
  If you prefer some power in your camping, find your spot east of the Indoor Arena and hook up your camper or trailer to our numerous power outlets.
  Also, the ranch has full Internet access, including WiFi.
