Stage AE is the second indoor/outdoor concert venue in America. Modeled after its predecessor, the LC Pavilion in Columbus Ohio, Stage AE features state-of-the-art lighting, acoustical systems and an innovative reversible stage. The Entertainment
The indoor season is booked throughout the year with the outdoor season scheduled from May to September. Pittsburgh’s oldest and largest brewery, Penn is housed in the mid nineteenth-century landmark E&O Brewery Building in the North Side’s Deutschtown neighborhood. Penn specializes in award-winning craft beers, all brewed onsite, and serves traditional “Euro-Pittsburgh†dishes including wurst, schnitzel, pierogi, and goulash – along with some contemporary favorites - in its restaurant. Penn has four unique reception spaces and can accommodate private groups of up to 130 guests for receptions, business meetings, and lunch and dinner events. Private beer tastings and brewery tours are also available upon request.
Main Bierhalle - Our main dining room is designed in the style of a real German beer hall, featuring wood paneling, long handmade, solid wood tables and benches, and a copper-topped bar. The room features space for live entertainment, as well as a direct view of the brewhouse so guests can watch the brewers at work.
The Ratskeller – A cozy space decorated with rich dark wood paneling, colorful stained- glass windows, and a direct view of our large beer tanks in the Lager Keller. The Ratskeller also features its own private bar. Seats up to 60 guests.
The Biergarten - This unique outdoor space boasts a quaint European feel, with its cobblestone courtyard, wrought iron gates, and flower boxes. The Biergarten is available for events from April through October and features its own private bar and space for live entertainment. Seats up to 85 guests, or a larger number for a stand-up reception.
The Eisenhalle - This spacious room, designed in the style of an industrial loft, pays tribute to Pittsburgh’s more recent Renaissance history and features beautiful views of the city’s skyline. Eisenhalle is equipped to host cocktail parties, buffet-style meals, and business meetings and features its own private bar. Eisenhalle can accommodate up to 130 guests.

This is a unique experience for your party guests. They are on a 12 ft. x 12 ft. stage playing the video game Rock Band – they feel like rock stars! The stage features two 8-foot flame lights and real concert effects. The custom-built drum set is elevated, and boom microphones allow any player to sing as they play the instruments.
There can be up to seven players at the same time; Rock Band 3 accommodates the drummer, bass player, guitar player, keyboard player and three singers! Players can choose from Rock Band, Rock Band 2, Lego Rock Band, Beatles Rock Band, and the newly released Rock Band 3, which features keyboards! Our hard drive contains nearly 400 downloaded Rock Band songs!
The party room features Bose® Surround Sound throughout and is accented by black lights and neon decorations. It seats up to 20 guests, who become the audience and the band plays the game right over their heads. The game is projected onto a 7 1/2 ft. x 13 ft. playing screen via an overhead projector – right on the other end of the room. There is plenty of room to dance and sing along!
Everything for your party happens in the same room. There's no need to move your guests from location to location while trying to keep track of everyone. This is a real party venue, where your guests have a great time together!
