Karen Clements is the owner/founder of Main Stream Events and PR Firm, formally known as Events In Every Occasion, LLC. She has been in the event industry for more than 12 years. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Technical Management with a concentration in Hospitality Management in 2009 while working full time and raising a family. She started planning corporate events for USAA in Norfolk, VA for 1100 employees from planning annual holiday parties, festivals, recognition events, United Way campaigns, fundraising activities, volunteer projects and planned more than 20 events for the employees each year. She started Events In Every Occasion in 2009 and focused on corporate, socials, training workshops, and non-profit events. She has worked with clients’ goals and budget with her detailed planning ability and resources.
Karen had an opportunity to work on a new strategy event, called the Hampton Roads Gala that was created to represent the region of Hampton Roads, Virginia that consists of 1.5 million residents. We have been associated with many projects such as Physicians For Peace 25th Anniversary Gala, Bon Secours hospital events, Free Agents Marketing, The Hampton Roads Gala, The Salvation Army Hope Gala, ISES Diamond Gala and other private company celebrations.
She believes in giving back to the community and by making a difference.
She volunteers her time on many projects with Professional Association of Businesses (PAOB) such as Citizen Care, Envision Youth School Supply and Youth Enrichment Tour Programs and is involved in the Greater 24 initiatives. She also works on volunteer projects for The Salvation Army.
She also has a passion to help other business owners with their PR and social media as well as being a referral source for professional listings.
