I started My Clown Career in 1988 when I was still in the Navy. I was a Naval Instructor, teaching robotics. One of my students a third class petty officer was acting up, and I ask him if he thought he was a clown and he said (yea) yes.
I kept him after class and found out he was telling the truth. I went to the California Clown School. I worked for them while in California, moved to Ohio and clowned there full time for 12 years under the name Uncle Ed’s Party Clowns and Assume Family Entertainers. I had 200 entertainers that I booked for parties and events.
I Moved to Columbia SC where I clowned for about a year. Then I joined the Merchant Marines . I was on the Hospital Ship Comfort. The Captain found out that I was a professional Clown, I sent for my clown stuff and clowned all over South America
Central America and the Caribbean.
What a fun time that was, most of the people their never seen a clown. Now I am back in W. Columbia SC to stay.
