She continued to expand and improve her interest and knowledge of ballet, jazz, yoga, modern dance and stretch and exercise attending and presenting at many dance conferences around the United States, throughout the years, until her passing on February,18 2003. Mildred appreciated, cared about and loved all of her students and tried to teach by example, not only dance, but life lessons, philosophy and the word of God. This dance studio owned by Mildred E. Deans has been closed since she is now with the Lord.
